Monitoring
The organization of the educational process of the Master’s Program is carried out entirely using modern distance learning methods.
Graduate students are required to attend the lectures and other activities scheduled for each course regularly. The maximum allowable absences are one-third (1/3) of the total instructional hours (13) for each course, regardless of whether the absences are excused or unexcused. In case of more absences, the Program Committee (S.E.) may decide on the repetition of the course or the exclusion of the student from the Master’s Program.
Obligations and Rights of Graduate Students
Obligations:
Graduate students accepted into the Master’s Program are required to:
• Regularly attend the courses and related activities of the current study program. The maximum number of absences allowed for each graduate student is one-third of the instructional hours, regardless of whether they are excused or not.
• Submit required coursework on time, according to the designated deadlines.
• Respect and comply with the decisions of the Master’s Program bodies and adhere to academic ethics.
• Participate in educational events, conferences, seminars, symposia, etc. organized by the Master’s Program.
• Fulfill their financial obligations by the deadlines set by the Master’s Program Secretariat.
Compliance with the above obligations is mandatory, and failure to adhere to them will not be excused unless there are documented and serious circumstances. In such cases, the appropriate authorities may decide to exclude the student from the Master’s Program.
A graduate student caught cheating in assignments or exams for the first time will be excluded from the exam for the respective course and will be required to retake the course in the next period. If the student is caught cheating a second time during their studies or submits a paper written by others, this may result in permanent expulsion from the program.
Rights:
Graduate students are entitled to:
• An academic ID card.
• An email account at the University.
• Access to the University’s libraries.
• Access to online databases subscribed to by the University (SEAB – Hellenic Academic Libraries Link).

The Master’s Program may grant scholarships to graduate students based on academic excellence or other scholarships as per the current legislation and the guidelines set out in the Graduate Studies Regulation (Article 86 of Law 4957/2022).
Evaluation of Graduate Students
The evaluation of students for each course is carried out by the instructor in the manner they have defined before the start of the lectures (exam/assignment/or a combination of these). The evaluation is based on a grading scale of 1-10 (with a passing grade of 5). A student who fails the exam/assignment will retake the exam/assignment in September. If a graduate student fails in a course or courses and, according to the regulations, is considered not to have completed the program successfully, they will be examined by a three-member committee of faculty members who have the same or related academic background as the course in question. The committee is appointed by the Department Assembly, excluding the course examiner. Instructors are required to issue the results of exams or written assignments no later than thirty (30) days after the submission of assignments or the exam.
