Study Duration
The duration of the Master’s Program leading to the Master’s Degree (M.A.) will be 3 semesters, with the 3rd semester dedicated to the preparation of the thesis. During the first two semesters, students will attend 6 + 6 mandatory courses, each comprising thirteen (13) weeks of instruction.
The maximum allowable time for completing the studies is set at six (6) semesters. Beyond these time limits, and in exceptional cases, upon a decision by the Assembly, the student may be granted an extension with an additional fee of four hundred (400) euros per semester.
Requirements
Graduate students admitted to the program are required to:
- Attend the courses and other activities of the current curriculum without exception. The maximum number of absences permitted for each graduate student is one-third of the teaching hours, regardless of whether the absences are justified or unjustified.
- Submit the required assignments for the courses within the specified deadlines.
- Respect and comply with the decisions of the program’s governing bodies as well as academic ethics.
- Participate in educational activities, conferences, workshops, symposia, etc., organized by the program.
- Fulfill their financial obligations by the deadlines set by the Program’s Secretariat.
It is expected that students will adhere to the above obligations, and failure to do so will only be excused in cases of documented and serious circumstances. Otherwise, the responsible bodies may decide to impose penalties, including the exclusion of the student from the program.
If a student is caught plagiarizing in assignments or exams for the first time, they will be excluded from the corresponding exam and required to retake the course in the next period. If a student is caught plagiarizing a second time during their studies or submits work written by others, this could result in permanent expulsion from the program.
